Coins

A mosaic unlike any other in the collection, Coins takes its name from its distinctive silhouette — an alternating arrangement of rounded pill forms and pinched oval shapes that interlock into a surface reminiscent of a field of overlapping coins. In Obsidian Token gloss black the arrangement reads as a graphic, almost jewelled surface: each rounded form catches light differently depending on angle, and the joints create a fine white grid that amplifies the pattern. As a gloss white mosaic tile in the Pearl Coin variant, the effect turns lighter and more ethereal.

In white the unusual shapes become a texture rather than a pattern, and the surface reads almost like pressed fabric or relief casting. Both colourways suit wet areas, feature walls, and splashbacks where a talking-point surface is required, and the black version doubles as a bold black wall tile. The combination of unusual form and gloss finish gives the Alabaster Drop quality of the white version particular appeal for bathrooms and powder rooms where light reflection is valued.
