Aspire RCB – New England Blackbutt

Aspire RCB – New England Blackbutt is a blackbutt look hybrid flooring capturing one of Australia’s most recognisable timbers — the pale-to-mid brown of blackbutt with its fine, straight grain and occasional darker gum vein, rendered in embossed relief so the surface reads as board rather than print. Built on an 8mm rigid composite core with a 0.7mm wear layer, New England Blackbutt stays flat and quiet across long open runs, and an attached acoustic IXPE underlay is bonded to every plank so it installs in a single pass.

Its waterproof surface makes it a straightforward choice for kitchens, laundries, hallways and open-plan living, while the Välinge 5G click keeps the floating installation fast and forgiving over most existing substrates. Available in 1800×178mm classic and 1800×223mm extra-wide planks with a micro-bevel, the familiar Australian tone works beautifully in contemporary and coastal interiors alongside white walls, stone benchtops and black tapware.
