Aspect – Blackbutt

Aspect – Blackbutt laminate flooring by Preference Floors takes one of Australia’s most recognisable hardwoods and renders it as a 12mm blackbutt laminate in AC4 with high-definition digital print. Blackbutt is an Australian Timber decor, so the surface is a smooth matte rather than embossed-in-register, letting the honey-brown to pale-tan gradation and fine straight grain carry the character on their own. Beneath it sits a Lo-Swell HDF black core with a 72-hour water-resistant rating, and boards join with an Angle 5G click and a painted V4 micro-bevel that reads as a genuine board edge rather than a printed line.

The warm brown tone is at home in living areas, bedrooms and hallways across contemporary Australian and coastal interiors, working comfortably with white walls, stone benchtops and black-framed joinery. Long 2260×194mm planks keep the pattern repeat well spaced across open floors, and E1 emissions plus a P2 slip rating are documented for the Australian Timber decors.
