Oak Blanc
Price range: $80.00 through $100.00
Weathered driftwood-greige European oak engineered timber with heavy character knots. Straight ($80/sqm) or herringbone ($100/sqm). 14mm/3mm wear layer.
Description
Oak Blanc is a softly weathered European oak in driftwood greige — warm timber undertones smoked beneath a cool grey wash that reads taupe in daylight and almost mushroom in evening light. Heavy character knots punctuate the planks: a large dark cluster anchoring one end, smaller pinpoint knots scattered throughout, each one telling a story of the tree’s growth. The grain runs in confident long lines with occasional cathedral figuring.
Each plank is genuine European oak with a 3 mm hardwood wear layer over a stable multiply core, finished in matte UV lacquer that preserves the aged, hand-touched character. Available as straight plank (1900 × 190 mm) for rustic-modern interiors, or as herringbone (600 × 125 mm) for sophisticated heritage detail.
Applications
The greige driftwood palette is one of interior design’s most versatile — it sits comfortably with both warm and cool decor, complements concrete, raw timber, black metal, and aged brass, and disguises everyday wear. Suits open-plan family living, country-style kitchens, mountain or coastal retreats, and boutique hospitality. The heavy knot character makes it particularly forgiving in high-traffic areas.
