De Marque Oak – Semillon (Chevron)

De Marque Oak in Semillon is chevron parquetry flooring cut from engineered European Oak — 600×120mm blocks that meet in a continuous mitred point, so the grain runs unbroken up the length of the room. The tone is a wine-warm oak, moving between pale straw and gentle golden amber, and the light brushing opens the timber’s early grain just enough to catch the light before the matte European PU finish settles it back down.

Chevron belongs in rooms that can show it off: formal living areas, dining rooms, entries and hallways, where the geometry lends a European, classic-modern discipline that a plank floor cannot. The same range runs in Herringbone and extra-wide plank, so pattern can shift between spaces while the colour stays constant. Note that parquetry in this range is direct-fix adhesive only.
