Elk Falls Hickory – Moonshine

Elk Falls Hickory — Moonshine is a charcoal hickory plank flooring in engineered American Appalachian Hickory, and the rustic AA/B/C/D grade is the point of it: dramatic grain swings, colour variation from board to board, knots and character marks all pulled together under a smoky charcoal tone. A light wire-brushing raises the grain, and the matte European PU finish keeps the surface low-sheen and tactile across 1900×189mm planks.

Hickory is one of the harder timbers you can put underfoot at 9.5kN Janka, so this suits busy living areas, hallways and bedrooms in modern-rustic and industrial interiors where a dark, characterful floor is wanted. The patented Unilin click system allows a floating install, or it can be glued down. On display now at our Dry Creek showroom, Adelaide.
