Oak Blanc

Oak Blanc is a softly weathered European oak in driftwood greige, and as greige oak herringbone flooring that aged character gains a pattern to sit in — warm timber undertones smoked beneath a cool grey wash that reads taupe in daylight and almost mushroom in evening light. Heavy character knots punctuate the boards: a large dark cluster anchoring one end, smaller pinpoint knots scattered throughout, each one telling a story of the tree’s growth. The grain runs in confident long lines with occasional cathedral figuring, sealed in a matte UV lacquer that preserves the aged, hand-touched surface.

The greige driftwood palette is one of interior design’s most versatile — it sits comfortably with both warm and cool decor, complements concrete, raw timber, black metal and aged brass, and disguises everyday wear.
