De Marque Oak – Matterhorn (Wide Plank)

De Marque Oak in Matterhorn brings alpine restraint to engineered European Oak — a grey oak wide plank whose cool, smoke-grey wash settles the timber’s mineral streaks and open grain into something quiet and architectural. Laid in extra-wide 240–300mm boards over a 15mm (4mm wear layer) or 21mm (6mm wear layer) core, the light-brushed matte European PU keeps the surface honest underfoot, with the faint texture of the brushing catching low light across the length of each board.

The grey tone is a natural fit for open-plan living areas, hallways and bedrooms in contemporary and minimalist homes, where it grounds pale plaster, black-framed glazing and stone benchtops without competing for attention. Wide boards mean fewer joins, so a large floor reads calm rather than busy. Available to view at Belantti’s Adelaide showroom.
