Elk Falls Hickory – Roasted Vanilla
Elk Falls Hickory – Roasted Vanilla caramel hickory flooring is a rustic-grade American Appalachian Hickory board in warm caramel tones, wire-brushed under a matte European PU finish.
Description
Elk Falls Hickory – Roasted Vanilla caramel hickory flooring is genuine American Appalachian Hickory in a rustic AA/B/C/D grade, which means the timber’s full range of character is left in rather than sorted out. Roasted Vanilla is warm and layered — toasted caramel and cream running side by side, hickory’s naturally dramatic contrast between sapwood and heartwood giving each board its own story. A light wire-brushed matte European PU surface lifts the grain into relief, and at 9.5kN on the Janka scale hickory is among the hardest-wearing timbers used in flooring.
The 1900×189mm planks carry that character best in living areas, hallways and bedrooms where there is room for the pattern to move, and it is an obvious fit for rustic, farmhouse and warm contemporary interiors alongside cream walls, leather, wool and aged brass. Install as a floating floor using the patented Unilin click or glue it down, over in-slab hydronic heating where heating is used. One of the ranges Adelaide renovators ask us about most.
