Pronto Engineered Oak – Dark Rum

Dark Rum is the deepest and most spirited colourway in the Pronto range — a pronto engineered oak flooring board stained to a rich, red-brown that catches amber where the light falls across it. A 3mm European Oak wear layer over a multi-ply plywood core gives the floor real timber substance, and the light wire-brushed matte PU finish keeps the grain open and free of glare. A/B/C hi-spec grading means knots, cathedrals and mineral streaks stay visible beneath the colour, so the depth never flattens into a single tone.

The wide 1900×190mm plank suits open-plan living, formal lounges and hallways where a dark floor can act as an anchor; the 600×120mm herringbone parquetry turns an entry or dining room into something more considered. Micro-bevelled on four sides, floating or direct-fix, and suitable over in-slab hydronic heating, it reads beautifully in classic and heritage interiors against cream walls, aged brass and deep green joinery. A favourite among Adelaide builders and designers.
