Village Oak – Foggy Shore
Foggy Shore is a misty, softly muted pale grey oak flooring in engineered European Oak, light-brushed matte, in wide 190mm or extra-wide 220mm boards.
Description
Village Oak by Preference Floors in Foggy Shore is pale grey oak flooring with the softness of sea mist — European Oak drawn back to a hazy light grey, warmer and gentler than a steel grey, where the grain shows only faintly as if seen through fog. Light brushing keeps a fine tooth in the surface so the board reads as timber rather than a painted plane, and the matte coating leaves it entirely without shine. Boards come 1900×190mm wide or 2200×220mm extra-wide, 14mm total over a 3mm oak wear layer.
Because the colour is so low in contrast, this floor makes a room feel wider and calmer, which suits open-plan living, bedrooms and hallways in coastal and Scandinavian interiors. It sits beautifully with white and chalk walls, pale linen, honed marble and brushed nickel, and the extra-wide 220mm board makes the effect even more seamless. Install direct-stick or floating; compatible with in-slab hydronic heating. One of the ranges Adelaide renovators ask us about most.
