Description

Oak Shell is pale oak engineered flooring with the airy serenity of weathered seashore timber — a white-washed European oak whose surface holds cream and oat tones over a barely-there grey wash, with cool undertones that read calmer and more contemporary than a traditional warm oak. Subtle linear grain runs the length of each plank, and the occasional knot — sometimes filled in soft jade or amber resin — adds a quiet point of contrast. Each plank is genuine European oak with a 3 mm hardwood wear layer over a stable multiply core, finished in matte UV lacquer.

Shell’s cool, light palette is a natural fit for Hamptons, coastal and Scandinavian interiors — it bounces daylight beautifully and creates a sense of openness in compact rooms. Pair it with white-painted joinery, pale linen, brushed nickel and grey-toned stone. It is especially flattering in bedrooms, light-filled living areas and second-storey retreats where you want a floor that recedes rather than dominates. Available as a straight plank at 1900 × 190 mm or herringbone at 600 × 125 mm for refined coastal parquetry. A favourite among Adelaide builders and designers.
