Aquastop – Strasbourg

Aquastop – Strasbourg laminate flooring by Preference Floors is Swiss-made by Swiss Krono, and the engineering shows. Strasbourg is a grey water resistant laminate with a composed decor whose synchronised embossing follows the printed grain exactly, so the texture you feel matches the timber you see rather than sitting across it as a generic pattern. The HDF Aquastop core is rated AC5 / Class 33 for heavy wear and holds 48 to 72 hours of water protection, and a Välinge 5G click with V4 micro-bevel draws the boards tight without glue. Three formats are available: 8mm and 12mm at 1380×193mm, and a long 14mm board at 2025×244mm.

That water rating is what puts this laminate into kitchens, laundries and busy hallways as comfortably as living areas, and the grey tone reads calm and architectural in modern and industrial interiors beside concrete benchtops, matt-black hardware and pale joinery.
