De Marque Oak – Parana (Herringbone)

De Marque Oak in Parana is herringbone oak flooring of the old European school — engineered European Oak cut to 600×120mm blocks and set into the sharp, zig-zagging rhythm that has dressed grand rooms for centuries. The light-brushed matte PU finish opens the grain just enough to feel the timber under bare feet, and the natural oak tone shifts between warm biscuit, soft caramel and the darker figure of medullary rays and knots. The same collection extends to Chevron and extra-wide plank, in 15mm with a 4mm wear layer or 21mm with a 6mm wear layer.

Parquetry belongs in the rooms you want people to notice: formal living and dining spaces, entry halls, studies. Laid across a wide floor it turns modern flooring into something closer to joinery, and it works as readily with panelled walls and antique rugs as with pale plaster and slim black frames.
