Elk Falls Hickory – Copper Still
A warm tan hickory flooring plank in 14mm engineered American Appalachian Hickory, wire-brushed and finished in matte European PU.
Description
Elk Falls Hickory in Copper Still is a tan hickory flooring board with the restless, high-contrast character that only Appalachian Hickory delivers — coppery tan heartwood running against paler sapwood, knots and mineral streaks left visible by the rustic AA/B/C/D grade. A light wire-brush opens the grain just enough to catch the light, and the matte European PU finish keeps the whole surface calm rather than glossy. At 14mm with a 2mm wear layer and a Janka rating of 9.5kN, it is one of the harder engineered timbers on the floor.
The generous 1900×189mm plank suits open-plan living, family rooms and hallways where a warm, characterful timber is wanted — the tan palette works beautifully with cream walls, leather, aged brass and natural stone. Lay it as a floating floor over the Unilin click system or direct glue-down, and it will carry a rustic-modern or farmhouse-leaning interior without effort. See it in person at our Adelaide showroom in Dry Creek.
