Pronto Engineered Oak – River Sand

Pronto Engineered Oak – River Sand engineered timber flooring by Preference Floors takes its colour from dry riverbed sand — a natural, faintly golden oak with grey drift through the darker grain. River Sand is a golden oak plank flooring that shows character honestly because the wear layer is 3mm of genuine European Oak, A/B/C hi-spec graded so knots, colour variation and medullary rays are part of the floor rather than edited out. A light wire-brushed matte polyurethane finish sits into the grain instead of over it, above a multi-ply plywood core at 14mm total, in 1900×190mm wide plank or 600×120mm herringbone.

Warm neutrals like this suit open-plan living areas, bedrooms and hallways across coastal, contemporary and Japandi interiors, sitting comfortably with white walls, travertine-look stone and rattan or linen textures. Wide plank installs floating or direct-fix, the herringbone is direct-fix only, and both are approved over in-slab hydronic heating. On display now at our Dry Creek showroom, Adelaide.
