Pronto Engineered Oak – Welsh Slate
A slate grey oak flooring in cool-toned in European Oak with a light wire-brushed matte PU finish, offered as wide plank or herringbone parquetry.
Description
Pronto Engineered Oak – Welsh Slate is a slate grey oak flooring named for the cool, mineral colour of quarried slate rather than made from it. Welsh Slate pushes European Oak toward smoke and stone grey, and because the wear layer is 3mm of real oak the grain, medullary rays and knots of A/B/C hi-spec grading all stay visible through the tint. A light wire-brushed matte polyurethane finish adds texture along the grain without gloss, over a multi-ply plywood core in a 14mm total profile. It comes as 1900×190mm wide plank or 600×120mm herringbone parquetry.
Grey-toned oak keeps open-plan living areas, hallways and bedrooms feeling architectural, and it suits modern, industrial and Scandinavian interiors beside white walls, concrete-look stone and blackened steel. Wide plank can be laid floating or direct-fix; the herringbone is direct-fix only, and both are approved over in-slab hydronic heating. One of the ranges Adelaide renovators ask us about most.
