Village Oak – Honeycomb
Honeycomb is warm golden tan plank engineered timber flooring in European Oak, light-brushed matte, in wide 190mm or extra-wide 220mm boards.
Description
Village Oak by Preference Floors in Honeycomb is tan plank engineered timber flooring with unmistakable warmth — European Oak carried into a deep amber-honey tone, the colour of raw comb held up to the light, with darker caramel running through the grain and lighter gold across the flat sawn face. Light brushing keeps that colour sitting in the texture rather than on top of it, and the matte coating holds it soft. Boards come 1900×190mm wide or 2200×220mm extra-wide, 14mm total over a 3mm oak wear layer.
Golden oak is what you specify when a room needs to feel warmer than it is — a south-facing living space, a dining room used at night, a hallway with no natural light. It suits contemporary, Mediterranean-leaning and classic interiors, and it pairs beautifully with cream plaster walls, terracotta, aged brass, rattan and travertine. Install direct-stick or floating; compatible with in-slab hydronic heating. See it in person at our Adelaide showroom in Dry Creek.
