Village Oak – White Lily

Village Oak – White Lily engineered timber flooring by Preference Floors is the palest note in the range — a chalky white oak flooring with soft colour drawn across genuine European Oak so the grain still reads clearly through the colour. White Lily keeps the light-brushed matte surface honest underfoot, with the brushing following the grain to leave a faint texture rather than a sheen. ABCD grading allows knots, sapwood variation and mineral streaking, and micro-bevelled edges on four sides frame each of the wide 190mm or extra-wide 220mm boards over a 14mm engineered profile with a 3mm oak wear layer.

Pale floors make rooms feel larger, which is why this one works so well through open-plan living areas, bedrooms and hallways in coastal, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors. It lifts north-facing rooms in winter light and pairs cleanly with off-white walls, black tapware and rattan or linen textures. Direct-stick or floating installation suits both concrete and timber substrates, and the boards are approved over in-slab hydronic heating. A favourite among Adelaide builders and designers.
