Hardwood Collection – Winter Frost

Hardwood Collection – Winter Frost white washed oak flooring is Hi-Spec AB grade American Red Oak and White Ash over a multi-ply core, cooled right down to a pale, frosted white. Winter Frost is a true white-wash rather than a grey — the wash sits in the open pores left by the light wire-brushing, so the grain draws itself in fine white lines across each board. A matte water-based PU lacquer finishes it with a soft, chalky sheen.

Pale floors make rooms feel larger and quieter, which is why this one works so well in bedrooms, living areas and hallways in coastal, Scandinavian and contemporary homes. The 1900×190mm boards are 14mm with a 3mm wear layer, can be direct-stuck or floated, and suit in-slab hydronic heating. Pair it with linen, pale marble and matte white joinery.
