Elk Falls Hickory – Barley Malt 14mm hickory flooring is American Appalachian Hickory at its most characterful — a rustic AA/B/C/D grade board where knots, mineral streaks and restless grain are left on show rather than sorted out. Barley Malt washes that grain in a warm, malty tan, the colour of sun-warmed straw, while a light wire-brushed texture catches the light along the length of every plank. A matte European PU surface keeps the sheen low and the timber honest underfoot.

At 1900×189mm the boards are generous enough to let the rustic figure read across a whole room, which makes this hickory floor a natural fit for open-plan living areas, hallways and bedrooms in relaxed, coastal or farmhouse-leaning interiors. Hickory’s 9.5kN Janka hardness gives it genuine resilience in a busy household, and the patented Unilin click system means it can float over a prepared substrate or be glued down.
