Fiddleback Australian Hardwood – Spotted Gum
A warm spotted gum plank flooring in genuine Australian hardwood over a multi-ply plywood core, finished in matte PU with micro-bevelled edges.
Description
Fiddleback Australian Hardwood – Spotted Gum is a spotted gum plank flooring made from genuine Australian eucalypt veneer bonded over a multi-ply plywood core. Spotted Gum is the more expressive half of the Fiddleback range: caramel and toffee browns run into shadowed chocolate, the interlocked grain catching light in waves that shift as you cross the room. A matte polyurethane finish keeps the surface honest and low in sheen, and at 11kN on the Janka scale spotted gum is one of the hardest flooring species grown in Australia.
Available as a 1860×136mm or 1860×189mm plank, a 430×86mm herringbone parquetry or a rustic board, it anchors living areas, hallways and bedrooms in contemporary, coastal and Australian classic homes. The engineered construction holds truer through seasonal movement than solid boards of the same species. On display now at our Dry Creek showroom, Adelaide.
