Village Oak – Oyster Grey

Village Oak – Oyster Grey engineered timber flooring takes its cue from the inside of a shell — a soft grey oak flooring in pearl-touched European Oak with just enough warmth beneath it to keep a room from turning cold. The light-brushed matte surface leaves the grain open and tactile, and ABCD grading lets the knots, mineral streaks and natural variation of Oyster Grey read through the colour rather than disappear into it. A 3mm oak wear layer over a 14mm engineered build delivers real timber depth with much better stability underfoot.

In wide 1900×190mm and extra-wide 2200×220mm boards it suits open-plan living, hallways, bedrooms and studies, and the wider format keeps large rooms feeling calm rather than busy. Micro-bevelled on four sides, direct-stick or floating, and suitable over in-slab hydronic heating, it belongs in contemporary and coastal interiors alongside white plaster, pale marble, brushed nickel and linen. A favourite among Adelaide builders and designers.
