De Marque Oak – Chateau Grey (Chevron) grey chevron oak flooring sets A/B/C grade European Oak into the sharp diagonal rhythm of true chevron parquetry. Chateau Grey is a restrained, faintly cool grey that reads almost limewashed in daylight, letting the oak’s medullary rays and fine grain surface without any warmth competing for attention. Light brushing opens the pores just enough for the matte European PU finish to sit down into the timber rather than on top of it.

Chevron rewards rooms with length — entryways, hallways and open-plan living areas — where the mitred points draw the eye forward and make a floor feel architectural. Available in 15mm with a 4mm wear layer or 21mm with a 6mm wear layer, it is a floor built for the long term in classic French, Hamptons and contemporary luxe interiors. Parquetry is fixed with direct-fix adhesive only, and it is compatible with in-slab hydronic heating. One of the ranges Adelaide renovators ask us about most.
