Village Oak – Sandy Cove
Sandy Cove is a pale, sun-warmed natural engineered oak flooring in European Oak, light-brushed matte, in wide 190mm or extra-wide 220mm boards.
Description
Village Oak by Preference Floors in Sandy Cove is natural engineered oak flooring in the colour of dry beach sand — European Oak held just on the warm side of neutral, pale and softly golden, with the grain lifted by light brushing so the board keeps a fine sandy texture underfoot. There is no heavy stain working against the timber here; the matte coating simply seals what the oak already is. Boards run 1900×190mm wide or 2200×220mm extra-wide, 14mm total over a 3mm oak wear layer.
Pale warm oak is the most liveable floor in a family home: it brightens open-plan living and dining, carries through bedrooms and hallways, and shows less traffic than either a very dark or very white board. It belongs to coastal and contemporary interiors, sitting easily with white walls, linen, rattan, brushed brass and pale stone. Lay it direct-stick or floating, and it is compatible with in-slab hydronic heating. Available to view at Belantti’s Adelaide showroom.
