Pronto Engineered Oak – San Remo (Herringbone)

Pronto Engineered Oak in San Remo is mid oak herringbone flooring with an unmistakably European temperament — a mellow mid-oak tone, faintly amber in the grain, laid in 600×120mm blocks that step away in the traditional double-V. The light wire-brushed surface catches the raised grain so the pattern gains texture as well as geometry, and the matte PU finish keeps the whole floor low-sheen and forgiving. A 3mm oak wear layer over a multi-ply plywood core holds the 14mm board flat and stable.

This is a floor for a formal living room, a dining room or a wide entry — anywhere the pattern can be seen whole — and it works as readily in a heritage cottage as in a contemporary build. Warm oak of this depth pairs naturally with cream plaster walls, aged brass, marble and dark timber furniture. Parquetry in this range is direct-fix only, adhered to a prepared substrate.
